Ramadan

Its amazing to think that another year has passed and Ramadan is here again. Its so exciting to think of what can be acheived in this month, although I know many were quite anxious for this month cos this year the fasts are SEVENTEEN, thats 17, hours long!! wow!! but i'v fasted a few already and its not too bad. Altho as usual - the thirst is hard to bear, but then thats the test.

I really hope I can find my conviction and my determination this Ramadan and become a better Muslim and a more decisive person. I have just decided that these are my goals. Insha'allah by the end of the month I will not only have acheived them but figured out a way to do so!! lol

Also I am loving being on medication! :-) sounds incredibly stupid but this is the first time in atleast a couple of years where I have not had a cold or some kind of flu. In fact, I'v been illness free since APRIL!! thats amazing Masha'allah!

So I have been doing my best to thoroughly enjoy life and make the most of everyday, every week - I have made an attempt to explore more of the beautiful country I live in and it is fun! I have explored Chester, Lancaster, Morecambe Bay, Haversham Village, Formby Beach and Forrest, and Derwent Valley. It has all been amazing and spending quality time with my friends, with good company, is indescribable. Sounds dramatic but its true. We have hiked, cycled, walked, cycled some more, played on the beach.... some amazing times.

I hope I can always remain positive and look forward to each day. I want to view the world like a child does - every day, every minute is new and fun, it can be explored and made the most of.

I hope to see many more good days, Insha'allah.
