grrrr!

I came into work today knowing it was a waste of time... I have no work to do here but money to earn. I could be at home packing, cleaning, panicking.

Ah yes. Panicking. I'm going to Canada tomorrow, bring the panic on! I hate flying alone... hell, I hate doing anything alone! The thought of flying by myself is scary, not because I'm imagining getting arrested or the plane crashing; nope, that'd be silly. I'm thinking more along the lines of how I might screw this up; not checking in right, my hand luggage getting confiscated, wearing the wrong shoes, tripping and falling on my face, not getting picked up in Canada, getting on the wrong plane......... with me the possibilities are endless!
I am one unlucky chick, and to top it off I have mucho clumsy!!!

So this should be fun.

So while at work, I'm trying to waste time..... and time just seems to be going very slowly when I come across a very interesting article in The Guardian.
Its titled "Fascist America in 10 easy steps". The reporter tells is that any country which is having its democracy overthrown in favour of dictatorship undergoes 10 steps or changes - and that modern day America has undergone all of them recently. A very VERY interesting article; one which makes you sit back and say "O yeh, thats happened!". And its scary............ cos in 10 steps the reporter makes it clear why America is infact a fascist regime. The article's not scary because it reveals America to be fascist, because, to be honest, everyone i know already thinks the American administration is evil, flawed and fascist. Its scary because the reporter proves and reports it is such clear, conscise and logical ways.

Its one thing to see men jumping up and down on TV screaming obsceneties and claiming America is a fascist regime, quite another to see it proved here in black and white. Its also quite chilling to read her small (BIG!) hints as to the future if this continues....... disquitening indeed!
Well.... thats put a damper on the mood! I'm off to do some shopping for Canada and no, I'm not planning on excess spending..... I'm actually really starting to hate shopping!

Does that make me less of a girl????
