freak out

I work in a Primary school as secretary/administrator - or at least I do when I can be bothered! :-)

Its a great school with the cutest kids. I really admire what the school has to offer and the great work the teachers do.
The Nursery teachers tend to have the most laughs because 3 year olds are just so funny - they are exploring the world and tend to imitate and repeat everything. So every little thing that happens at home they see and then they come into school and repeat it. Its amazing how much these kids can pick up in moments.

It is part of a 3yr olds personality to imitate and so they will imitate adult relationships i.e. holding hands, kissing, hugging, action heroes.... anything and everything can and will be imitated at some point (so be careful what u do in front of kiddies!).

Anyway, the other week I decided to have a 5 min break in the playground while the Nursery kids were out there playing and having their milk. I was asked by one of the teachers to call out to some of the kids that were playing across the playground. As I did so I felt a pat on my butt - as I looked around ready to punch some weirdo (where this weirdo would have come from, I dont know) I spotted a grinning 3 yr old boy.
"what did u just do?" I asked - frankly shocked.
The kid didnt answer me..... he just grinned up at me and stared.
The freakin kid had just slapped my butt!!! Thats just weird. A 3 yr old!!! Too weird even for me.
I tried to walk across the playground to get back to safety, that is, his teachers! lol but as I made my escape I forgot to pay attention to what the kid was doing so he took the opportunity to cop another feel!!! Bloody hell.

I didnt know whether to laugh or run! lol

When I got back to the teachers they laughed hilariously at my story - and then called him over. Not that he was far away - the child was stalking me!!!!!!
They asked him whether or not he "liked" me - in answer he nodded rather vigorously.

To this day, a week later, I am avoiding this 3 yr old boy who does his best to get close to me and stares at me constantly. It is seriously freaky yet bizarrely funny at the same time.
