Today

So I thought I would write a quick account of todays events - just so I don't forget!

I arrived, finally, in Karachi around 12ish this afternoon; was met at the airport by my nani phupho and my sister. They had apparantly been waiting there since 06.30am!! Poor things!! We commiserated each other on our long waits and experiences.

By the time we got home Lamees said she really wasn't feeling well at all and since I needed sleep too - we both went to sleep. I was woken up an hour later by the sound of her being violently sick in the other bathroom. She kept vomiting and having stomach troubles all afternoon and evening - so much so, that she was unable to keep anything down at all, not even water. She really wasn't coping very well and was very unwell.

A few hours later, my aunt made the decision to take her to the hospital because she was worried about dehydration and her inability to keep anything down. SO off we went. The doc there agreed with my aunt and put my sis on a drip for electrolytes etc and also anti-nausea and for the food poisoning.

While my aunt sat with my sis at the hospital I had to go to my cousin's son's aqeeqah - where it was really nice to see everyone again
