OMG! I just cannot stop sneezing - this is all Lam's fault, cos it started when she got back. I cant even see properly through the sneeze-tears at the moment!
OK.... not blogged regularly cos lack of internet access... so pls forgive me.
I was just reading a friends blog and someone had left a rather inarticulate comment as to how they thought my friend was stupid cos she had typos in her blog and how this person thought themselves wise and therefore hated Muslims and Islam and was infact anti-religion.
Ha! Everyone knows an intelligent person will not insult someone elses faith, nor would they make assumptions, nor would they dismiss faith out of hand. This person isnt wise, they are deluded.
Its rudeness to denigrate anothers religion not wisdom. To be wise is to be open-minded, broad-minded, indeed to be accepting of others points of view.
The audacity to come onto someone else's blog and insult their religion!
My mother brought me up well enough to learn "when you have nothing nice to say, you say nothing at all".
Maybe this "witch" would like to learn this saying and apply it in her own life -maybe this particular moral passed her by.....
Oh - and dont insult my friends. I'll beat u up (outside the bicycle shed, after school!) :-D
Keep in touch guys - my manchester lot - call me!

Very strange.
You're hatred for "organised" religion I mean.
Hmmm...why you may ask?
Come on dudette, you're a self-confessed clever person so work it out...
EVERYTHING everyone does IS ORGAINSED!!! The only difference is instead of having law based on the Qur'an or the Bible, we have law based on what some old men sitting in an old, albeit nice building, in our capital cities, have thought up, and this process has been going on for centuries. And because they are people, they are fallible and frequently get things wrong. Let's look at a few examples shall we?
British anti-terrorism laws, thought up my tony blair (getting on a bit) while sitting in his crib (10 downing street - old but nice) which lead to the death of an innocent Brazilian, tens of innocent people in prison and an innocent man shot in his home. Hmmm......organised law does seem to have its downfalls....but hey you live a world without laws don't you miss.istanbulwitchy? I mean, there's nowt organised about your life! Hell, I bet you walk out of your house naked and shoot anyone you please just 'coz you can!
Or maybe not...hmm...maybe an organised system of stops and balances, (known to the majority of the world's populace as, "the law") is quite sucky in retrospect.
Or maybe it's the one thing that prevents you're stupid comments from getting the crap kicked outta you....hell, NO WAY would I touch you! I'd get done by the law! It just ain't worth it!
Another downfall, again in law....criminal law is patriarchal (you may need a dictionary for that one honey)...which means that if a man is provoked into a crime, e.g. someone called him a smelly drunk 'coz he was an alcoholic, his sentence can be reduced and he can use provocation as a defence, but if a woman has been beaten up by her husband for years and one days loses it and smashes him over the head with an iron, she has no such defence of provocation because this is more like "pent-up anger" and not defensible. Not fair is it? No...because this is the law as made by man!
Now religious law, IF it was in place, which it is NOT absolutely anywhere in its purity, would not have such problems. Why? Because it's not made by man, it is laid down by God. However, it may still run into problems as it is IMPLEMENTED by humans, which means this....if someone like you was the prime minister of turkey or whatever, and the law was the Shari'ah (Islamic law), your anti-religious stance would make you despise it and hence you would interpret it in a whack way. And before you say "it can only be interpreted one way". Bull, people interpret things to suit themselves all the time. A classic example from law school...
"No vehicles in the park"
...can mean no cars in the park, or no lorries and cars in the park, or no motorised vehicles in the park, or even no prams in the park! When this sign is used it always means, no motorised vehicles in the park, e.g. cars and lorries, and it does not refer to any manual vehicles such as prams and bicycles. But come up tight geezer who hates kids will no doubt write to the council claiming that "no-one pays attention to the sign which clearly states 'no vehicles'". This is life, people always twist things. And so Shari'ah law, like any other law, needs competent people to implement it, not the likes of blair and bush who, my days, twist EVERYTHING!!! Just look at how they twisted the original UN resolution on Iraq, over ten years old, to wage war on Iraq in 2003. It was just a big fat pretzel! But if Shari'ah law had these competent people to implement it, such as Umar ibn Abdul-Aziz, Wallahi it would be the best system in the world.
So think before you say you hate "organised religion", because you follow the most organised religion of them all....following anyone who says they don't believe in God and at the same time dissing everyone who does. Yes, this is a religion for you, because you can't just not believe in God, you also HAVE have to insult all others who do. Why? Because this is your 'deen', your religion in itself...it's how organised atheism works...you can't just have your opinion, you have to insult all those who don't share it. What a religion! It must get tiresome.
Lol, I'm impressed, you follow your religion more closely then any of us(!)
And yes you can diss me and yes you can diss religion, but if you diss me it will serve only as good for me (I take your good deeds, precious little as they may be) and if you diss the religion you're gonna have a hot time down there in hell. And that picture of the devil is so lame. You can't imagine anything scarier then where you're gonna go (if you continue with this rubbish) after death.
You think it'll work?!?!
