This is probably the first picture I took of Canada; the view from my cousins' "condo". Thats Lake Ontario, and if you look closely you can see the mini-airport that does short flights between airports in Ontario state. Its cool, u can see planes taking off and landing. And the lake itself is picturesque and very pretty.
Thats Saniyah, my lovely cousin who took me everywhere and spent her holiday time with me, on the subway.... thats their underground. Its smaller than the London under ground but the actual trains are built bigger and WIDER (thats my word for Canada).
Thats us York University campus, where Saniyah studies. Its a HUGE campus. Like I said, everything is built on a larger scale here. And the next pic is me with a building of York Uni behind me... in front of me was a park where,
typically, a bunch of guys were playing "soccer".... I guess some things dont change no matter where you are.
This is me in front of Tim Hortons - in Canada when you want coffee, this is where you go. A chain owned by one of their Ice Hockey heroes (its names after him) and it does exceedingly well. Its cheap too; a coffee will cost you about $1, thats like less than 50p!!! Whitey - this is dreamland for u!

Cosmic Bowling - a laugh. I lost abysmally - and Saniyah couldnt understand why I just didnt care. lol

A street in Canada looks like a highway. I thought it was worth a foto (from my cousin Azmeh's condo). It just looked so..... foreign!
HOT DOG!!! My first experience.... and it was yummy! It was late at night, we were out for a walk, and as young "youths" cried out flirts and cat calls to passing clubbers.... I experienced my first hot dog. Wished I had time to get another one while I was there! lol
On my way to Niagra falls.... it had been a long day. By now, I wasn't even that excited but of course I couldn't say anything, not that I wanted to, because my cousins had taken the time out from their busy schedule to take me. Plus when ever was I gonna get a chance to see the Niagra falls again?! Many years ago, my mum and dad had come to Canada together, left me and Lam behind (meanies!); they had come to Niagra falls. They had stood where I was going to stand, thousands of miles from home. SO I wanted to go too. :-D

Uhum..... so Niagra falls.... impressive. And not the way I expected them to be. It was an amazing feeling to see all that water just tumbling of the edge, Subahanallah. Like a kind of mass water suicide, but one that continues the circle of life. Subhanallah, the amazing creations of Allah.
And on the other hand, was the amazing Blackpoolishness of the streets around Niagara falls.... all the neon lights and the souvenir shops.

Ok well more pics to follow, but this will have to do for now. I have to go and attempt to do some DP work.... and then veg out and forget about my life!
